David Pridal is a Vienna-based sound artist, musician, painter, illustrator 
and audiovisual technician.
His work investigates the relationship between acoustic phenomena,
spatial context, and perception through immersive installations, live performances, and sculptural sonic objects.
Operating at the intersection of experimental music, visual art,
and spatial acoustics, Pridal treats sound as a malleable material,
shaped by architectural structures and the sensory qualities of each site.
His site-responsive practice foregrounds improvisation as both method and philosophy, opening up systems that invite unpredictability, presence,
and interaction.
Beyond his solo projects, Pridal collaborates across disciplines,
designs sound for theater and performance, and regularly leads workshops on improvisation and experimental sound practices.
As co-founder of the artist collective Sandkasten Syndikat, the event series Klub Montage, and a resident artist at the Art & Culture Center Semmelweisklinik, his approach is grounded in collective exchange, DIY culture, and the exploration of alternative modes of creation and presentation.
